"SpectraPure" toxic gas protection system guards the end user from exposure to FLUORINE, HYDROGEN CHLORIDE or other select toxic gases in an event of a leak.

Series 5300: Toxic Gas Room Air Purifier

Room Air Purifier is designed to scrub the toxic exhaust gas in a 3000 cubic foot (85 cubic meter) room or toxic exhaust gas that leaves the Model 215 Gas Cabinet through a six inch (6") flue.

Designed to meet UL, CSA, IBM and NEC electrical codes. It includes replaceable filter elements with an acivated charcoal bed for fluorine compound removal; a 1,000 CFM centrifugal blower rated for 20,000 hours of continuous operation; remote control and safety interlock interfacing; and is housed in an all white, gas tight cabinet enclosure.

Note:

The toxic gas will be contained by the room which stores the toxic gas cylinder. This room is assumed to be clean and free of any other potential gas source leaks. (Please review all specifications on the operation and installation of the SpectraPure System.)

Minimum Load:

The minimum load capacity that the Spectra Gas Room Air Purifier can hold is a #3 gas cylinder (2000litres) at 2000 psig (139bar) with 0.2% Fluorine in Helium and/or Neon gas vented theough a 0.01" (25mm) flow restrcitor into the room. Water volume of a Spectra Gases #3 gas cylinder is 0.55 cubic feet.

Series 6400: Toxic Gas Detector and Remote Sensor(s)

Two adjustable alarms per remote sensor: WARNING and ALARM.
Low Maintenance: There is no need to schedule tests for sensor input to the reciever: if input is lost, a trouble light will flash and an associated relay will activate with the Auto-Test feature, this sensor's detacting capability is tested daily, with no effort by the user. The trouble light and relay will activate if the remotr sensor does not respond to the automated gas test.
Quick Detection: REsponse time is typically better than 90% in less than fifteen seconds.
Easy Installation: TO meet the needs of the users worlrdwide, the power supply will accept any AC or DC input from 85-270volts without adjustment. Designed for good noise resisitance. Sonsors have excellent zero stability, high sensitivity and selectivity.
